The Miranda Golf Club is one of the oldest in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, providing its members with weekly games at a variety of courses in and around the southern suburbs of Sydney.

We have a game booked (usually for up to 32 players) each and every Saturday (except for Christmas Day when it falls on a Saturday). Our hit off times are early - often just as the sun comes up, but that gives us an opportunity for a fast game with not too much to slow us down and then plenty of time to relax afterwards.

In addition, we have two traditional weekends away during the course of the year.

The first, in February involves three days of golf at a location within three hours drive of Sydney. We have been to the Blue Mountains, Nelsons Bay, Nowra and the Illawarra and the Southern Highlands in the past fifteen years.

The second, which is held in August is usually held on the Gold Coast and is held in memory of Mark Buso, one of our members who passed away suddenly a few years ago. This weekend features golf on Friday and Sunday with a day at the Gold Coast Races on the Saturday.

The main theme and aim of our type of golf is about enjoyment - enjoy the games, enjoy the company, and don't take things too seriously - we are a Social Golf Club after all.

During the course of the 2022 Annual General Meeting, the club's membership decided to change our status from a Social Club to that of an Incorporated Association, regulated by Fair Trading NSW. Documentation was gathered and an application made and approved in September 2022.
